Pharmacological action:

Carbaryl is a highly effective insecticide used against external parasites - lice, ticks and other insects. Carbaryl - 1-naphthyl methylcarbamate belongs to the carbamate group of insecticides. It is a reversible inhibitor of the enzyme acetylcholinesterase. Inhibition of acetylcholinesterase, in turn, leads to the accumulation of acetylcholine in nerve synapses, resulting in uncontrolled transmission of nerve impulses in the nervous system. Which ultimately leads to the death of parasites.

When applied topically, carbaryl is absorbed into the body in insignificant quantities. Metabolism products are excreted in the urine.


Indications:

Insect-acaricidal powder "Carbavetin" is used against all types of external parasites (lice, ticks), cockroaches, ants and other insects of animals and birds.


Directions for use:

The powder is sprayed onto the surface of the animal's skin, especially in places where parasites nest.

Birds under the wings, in the chest and cloaca area.

Three-time treatment with an interval of seven days.

Once a month for prevention.

Inside the building, the powder is sprinkled around the baseboards and bathrooms.


Contraindications:

Exercise special caution when administering the drug to cachectic animals. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance.


Side effects:

Long-term use leads to impaired liver function.

Toxic to bees and crustaceans.
