Around The Studio’s tables are crafted using stainless steel, stone, and reclaimed Georgian oak—a material historically used in village houses. By repurposing old oak from abandoned homes, the studio preserves its unique character while embracing a sustainable approach to traditional craftsmanship.
Design inspirations come from Georgian cultural elements, such as the Dining Dough Table, which reflects the form of real dough placed on tables in Meskhetian kitchens. Each table balances heritage and modernity, transforming historical materials into functional and expressive contemporary pieces.
