Damarchine Estate is a family owned and operated small winery located in the east part of Georgia, in the Kakheti region, in the Village Mukuzani. Wines are produced from the grapes handpicked in the company owned finest vineyards. Wine is produced from Georgian native, Saperavi red grape varieties & Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane white grape varieties. Fermentation process occurs naturally with natural yeasts. The wine is fermented and matured according to ancient Georgian traditions in clay vessels called Qvevri. Qvevri is buried in the ground and wine goes through 3-4 months of maceration, hence we produce wines that are rich with pleasant tannins and full of dry fruit aromas. Damarchine Estate produces around 10,000 bottles of wine annually. Our wines were awarded silver and bronze medals at International Qvevri Wine competition.
