Nanobashvili's Marani — A Family Tradition Inspired by Nature
Nanobashvili's Marani is a small family-owned winery located in the Tsarapi microzone, in the village of Kardenakhi, Kakheti, Georgia. In our family, viticulture and winemaking naturally evolved over the years to become a way of life — shaped by more than 20 years of ancestral experience, a deep love for tending vineyards, and crafting wine in kvevri. It was precisely this long-standing practice and family tradition that inspired us to develop our own marani (cellar).
Our wine is produced in kvevri using the traditional Kakhetian method and an organic approach — without chemical intervention. The vineyards are cultivated using bio-methods to preserve the purity and uniqueness of the Tsarapi (terroir) soil in every grape cluster.
Today, our wine represents the combined result of family labor, ancestral knowledge, and a passion for natural winemaking.
