Mosmieri is a boutique winery located in the Tsinandali micro-zone of the Kakheti region, in eastern part of Georgia. Winery is dedicated to the production of high quality wines of premium segment, using both modern and traditional winemaking techniques.
Mosmieri was established in 2015 and the construction of the winery, touristic center and planting of the vineyards was completed in 2017. The entire complex is prudently designed and established on a gentle slope overlooking the magnificent Alazani Valley and the snow-capped 3000m high Great Caucasus ridge. Mosmieri winery is also an integral part of a groundbreaking wine touristic chateau designed in Georgian traditional style with modern elements.
The winery is equipped with modern temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The Georgian classic cellar for storing the wines called “marani” comprises 24 units of large clay vessels (qvevri) set into the ground. For aging the wines there is a French oak barrel cellar furnished with high quality barrels sourced from Burgundy (France). Total production capacity of premium wines totals to 200,000 bottles annually.
Mosmieri premium wines are currently exported to 12 countries world-wide and are also appreciated by consumers on local market. These markets are: Belgium, China, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, UK, USA, Japan, Latvia, Russia and Ukraine.
