GNT is a Georgian company that manufactures handmade developmental baby play mats for children aged 0 to 12 months. Our products combine a soft and safe play surface, flexible arches, and certified hanging toys designed to support babies’ sensory, visual, and motor development.
Our products are designed and manufactured in Georgia, combining child-friendly functionality, handmade quality, and attractive design. Our current production capacity is 2,500–3,000 units per month, with the possibility of increasing production capacity in response to market demand.
At this stage, we have one fully developed model in production, while we have also created 15 different design concepts, providing significant potential to expand our product range and increase production volume in the future.
We are looking for international buyers, distributors, and partners interested in Georgian-made developmental baby products, with the goal of introducing GNT products to international markets.
The development of GNT also has an important social impact. Our production facility is located in a village where approximately 90% of the population consists of ecological migrants, while a large part of the local population is primarily engaged in agriculture. Women in the community often have to undertake physically demanding work to support their families.
The expansion of the GNT production facility will allow us to create employment opportunities for local women, provide stable and decent working conditions, and contribute to the economic empowerment of the local community.
Our goal is to develop GNT into a successful Georgian manufacturing company and bring high-quality, Georgian-made developmental baby products to international markets.

I was one of the initiators of the process of introducing supervision and quality standards for children’s toys in Georgia. As part of this initiative, I went door to door in villages and collected signatures from local residents. It was precisely through this process that the idea emerged to establish a manufacturing enterprise that would produce safe, high-quality toys for children in Georgia. From the very beginning, our main goal has been—and remains—to manufacture high-quality, safe children’s products that comply with European Union standards and can be proudly introduced to both the Georgian and international markets. We were able to turn this idea into reality with the support of various grant funding programs. Among them, we received significant assistance through the “Produce in Georgia” program. As a result, we now have an operating facility and an established production line. When operating at full capacity, the facility can employ up to 20 women and produce approximately 2,500–3,000 units per month. If demand increases, production capacity can also be expanded. Our main focus at present is the production of educational play mats for children. We have already developed one product model and created sketches for 15 different toy designs, distinguished by their original design and functionality. We believe that our products have the potential to be attractive and distinctive not only in Georgia but also in the European market. However, in order to move to the next stage of development, we face an important challenge: securing certified raw materials and obtaining the necessary certification for our finished products. At this stage, we use raw materials available on the Georgian market. However, it is not possible to obtain a 100% guarantee regarding their safety. In order to fully meet European Union requirements and obtain the relevant certifications, we need to replace 14 types of raw materials currently used in production with certified materials that must be imported from abroad. Due to the lack of the necessary financial resources, our development has been delayed at this stage. Initially, we planned to finance the further development of the enterprise through various donor-funded programs. However, the suspension of funding opportunities in the country has also slowed down the expansion of our business. Therefore, we are currently looking for a business partner who would be interested in supporting the development of our manufacturing facility, helping us secure certified raw materials, and facilitating the introduction of our products to international markets. Participation in an international trade fair is particularly important to us. It would provide an opportunity to communicate directly with potential buyers, distributors, and business partners, present our products to them, and receive genuine feedback on market needs and expectations. If the trade fair generates interest in our products in foreign markets, this would represent an important opportunity for us. On the one hand, it would expand our sales prospects; on the other hand, it would allow a potential business partner to see the development potential of our products based on a specific market and actual customer demand. If sufficient interest in our products is confirmed in a foreign market, but we are unable at this stage to find a business partner to finance the purchase of certified raw materials and product certification, we are prepared to cover the necessary costs ourselves gradually and step by step. Once we have clear evidence that there is a concrete market opportunity for our products, making this investment would become a realistic business decision for us.
