I am Rusudan, 37 years old. A financier by profession and a mother of 3 minor children. I worked for 7 years in a non-governmental organization, my work process included participating in various state-subsidized programs for socially vulnerable children, disabled people, day centers, kindergartens, mother and children's shelters in Tbilisi and regions.
During these 7 years, I had the opportunity to be in daily, close communication with children with different categories of developmental delays and/or disabilities, as well as with their educators and representatives, so I can confidently say that I know exactly what their needs and requirements are.
It was the specific work process in the NGO that laid the foundation for my idea and made me want to create something that would help children develop mental, emotional, personal, and social skills.
Accordingly, I want to produce developmental toys made of ecologically clean wooden material. Toys that teach babies about shape, size, and color. They are an excellent and interesting way for them to develop motor skills, thinking, imagination concentration, and emotion.
The main purpose of my activity and the fact that distinguishes it from other enterprises is the fact that I am going to be and am the first in Georgia to produce a specific line of wooden toys, the so-called "Development toys" for children with developmental delays and/or disabilities and I created an innovative space that will allow parents of children with developmental delays and/or disabilities, centers working in this regard and all interested persons to be able to have an ecologically appropriate development of different ages and abilities in one space. Purchase of toys made of eco-friendly wood at an affordable price.
