Meama is a successful Georgian capsule coffee-producing company that manufactures American and European format coffee capsules, has a Hi-Tech laboratory, is certified to Food Safety System Certification FSSC 5.1, ISO 9001 and ISO 22000, and has won numerous awards for its innovations and factory’s unique architecture.
We bring high-quality beans from around the world to our innovative Tbilisi factory, where we roast and grind them to rigorous quality standards. Only the finest single-origin roasts and custom blends make it into Meama capsules, which are factory-sealed for great taste and ready to brew you a life-changing cup of coffee in seconds.
Meama brings coffee beans from 18 different countries. Green coffee beans are imported from Brazil, Columbia, Ethiopia, Guatemala, El Salvador, Kenya, Tanzania, Mexico, etc. In the Meama coffee factory, we use state-of-the-art industrial technology, which allows us to put coffee from 5 or more different countries. For each capsule experts choose the individual roasting recipe, grinding method, and mixing conditions. Coffee is hermetically protected in a capsule. That’s why we always get a balanced and consistent taste.
Meama has received the Food Safety System certificate, which is a comprehensive food safety management system certification scheme. The FSSC certificate is recognized internationally by the Global Food Safety Initiative.
Capsule technology allows us to put more than 5 different species and origins of coffee in each capsule, choose an individual roasting recipe, grinding size and blend them together. Meama produces 2 types of coffee capsules - European Format (37mm) and American Format (51mm). Factory also produces a variety of tea capsules. Anyone can discover their favorite coffee and tea in the diverse assortment of Meama products. Along with our products - Capsule Coffee, we offer novelty to the market in terms of ultra-fine ground coffee as well. In order to create the full experience of aromatic coffee, we offer American and European format coffee machines to our customers.

In 2020 Meama factory has been chosen as the best office in the world by the world’s largest awards program Architizer A+Awards. In 2021 an innovative vending machine for coffee capsules “Dropper” has become the winner in Office and Business Appliances Design Category at “A’Design Award and Competition”. In 2022 Meama Collect At the Sea has won The Architizer A+Awards in Commercial Pop-Ups & Temporary nominations.
